LFG, the edited tweet behavior is super smooth now!

Does the new tweet highlight still work when the class is removed?
Trying a little bit of a different approach here…

@grtcalculator
New tweets start light yellow and then fade to white.
But I guess edited tweets do pretty much the same thing.
Unless it’s the first damn tweet!

@grtcalculator
But again—the new tweet highlight behavior is pretty smooth.
Gotta figure out what’s weird about the edit highlights.
Edited tweets still update properly, yes?

GRT Calculator
@grtcalculator
Edited tweet highlight behavior is clearly not ideal.

GRT Calculator
@grtcalculator
Fact is, the highlight behavior after an edit is a little bit janky. Maybe I need a separate `tweet-edited` class or somesuch…
But first, let’s edit this thing. And then one more time.

@grtcalculator
What if we publish a new tweet?
Can we then edit it?

@grtcalculator
But then if I issue a new tweet, does it keep working?
And what if we then dive in and edit an older tweet?

GRT Calculator
@grtcalculator
What happens with a new tweet?
Can we edit this thing?

GRT Calculator
@grtcalculator
Let’s create a new tweet (it’s been a few days)

@grtcalculator
Here’s the second test tweet.
Let’s see what happens!

@grtcalculator
Total success all around!
Now we’re going to add two more tweets—without posting them—and see if everything continues to work properly after a page refresh.

@grtcalculator
Nailed every item from the first tweet checklist!
Just gotta see if the last item—that the second tweet works—is correct.
Also, let’s post an emoji at the end 😬

First successful tweet checklist:
• Editor is cleared after creation
• Editor shrinks back to initial size
• “No tweets yet” text is removed
• New tweet is added in the first position
• Editor ID updates
• Second tweet works
